Love This Throw

he Cloud Scape Linen 8-Layer Cotton Muslin Throw Blanket is fabulous! It's soft and well sewn and the edges are completely finished. It washes like a dream, comes out of the dryer plump and soft.

I've been using it this summer over a bed sheet for just a little more warmth if I have the air conditioner or fan on. It's perfect and lightweight. I'm definitely not one of those people who like heavy weight when they sleep. The idea of a "weighted" blanket is not the least bit soothing for me. This is so comfortable, I may have to buy their larger size as well as this throw size.

The listing online is a bit confusing. It's a throw, not a King-sized blanket. They do sell full sized blankets, so read carefully when you order. The 100% cotton is Oeko-Tex certified, which means it was made without toxic chemicals or techniques. Better for their workers, the environment and better for me as well.

Lovely presentation, beautiful throw, very good manufacturing standards. Just what I hoped for. Thank you!

High end & fancy in a Boho way

Definitely a little something different. This lightweight, floaty, layered blanket is an interesting find. Each layer is thin and breezy and then layered together to create a heavier (still very lightweight) blanket of sorts. Due to the nature of this layering, it's always going to have an organic, natural shape to it-not like a traditional, tuck-it-in-without-a-crease-or-wrinkle blanket at all. Overall, it has a delicate nature to it and should be handled gently to avoid snags.

absolutely LOVE

At first, I was surprised how thin this is…and not as soft as expected? But after washing, I completely changed my mind. The threads become more tightly packed, which adds thickness and overall softness and comfort. This feels more dense now after washing, so make sure to do that before giving a verdict. I don’t like overly thick winter blankets, so I find this a happy middle that I can use all year round (with a/c during the summer). It even comes in a nice bag that I could totally use outside the house and not just for storage haha. There’s a smaller pocket inside, which totally alludes to that kind of usage. I love the shade of grey as well. No complaints from me!

Weighs double of the 6 layer muslin blankets that I own. Is warmer. Looks and feels nice

This queen 8 layer muslin blanket weighs in at 5 pounds, 9 ounces. I own another brand of 6 layer queen muslin blanket and that one weighs in at 2 pounds, 12 ounces.
So this blanket is definitely more substantial than others on the market!
It is warmer too, with less air blow-through. I like that because it allows me to still be comfortable, using muslin in the winter. Previous to this blanket, I only used muslin in the warmer weather. I will try this blanket in fall and I think it will be great!
It is not as fluffy/airy as my other muslin blankets.. more solid flat.. if that makes sense.. could be the square stitch throughs every 10 inches or so that keeps all the layers in place.
I like it. I do think it is overpriced at $99. I would pay $60-$70 for this muslin blanket (I paid $40 for my 6 layer muslins that were more airy and were lighter weight/not as warm)
It is a quality item and comes with a nice presentation!
The edges of this blanket are all folded over and stitched, so the edges are 16 layers thick, and are about an inch wide all the way around. The stitching looks like excellent quality. I expect this blanket will last a long time.
